Hello, friendly readers!
I am sorry for my lack of posting. I have been very busy with new projects and life. So, what is happening? Well, let me tell you all about it!
I am in my last semester of college to obtain my associate’s degree in Administrative Office Professional Management. That is if this 8-week Quickbooks class isn’t the death of me. I am usually very good at processes and technology but this online version of the class and how it connects to the book and materials is really testing me. It just isn’t user friendly. But I will persevere nonetheless! I hope!
Also, a friend of mine has the autoimmune disease Vitiligo. So, we cowrote a wonderful children’s story about Bella, the bunny, who has spots. The book is due to be released ANY DAY NOW, and I cannot wait for everyone to read about Bella’s journey of self-love and acceptance!
Meet Bella, a sweet young bunny with bright, beautiful spots caused by vitiligo, a condition that makes some parts of her fur lighter than the rest. Bella is the only bunny in her family with these special patches, and while they make her unique, they also make her feel different. When teasing from her siblings leaves her feeling sad and unsure, Bella hops off on her own and meets new friends who are different in wonderful ways too—a squirrel with a two-colored tail, a deer with just one antler, and a butterfly with mismatched wings.
Through these gentle friendships, Bella begins to see herself in a new light. She learns that being different isn’t something to hide—it’s something to celebrate. When Bella returns home, she discovers that loving who you are can help others see the beauty in themselves too.
Bella’s Beautiful Spots is a heartwarming story about self-acceptance, kindness, and the joy of being uniquely you. Perfect for young readers, this uplifting tale reminds children that the world is brighter when everyone shines in their own special way.

If you’ve been anxiously waiting for my new cozy mystery – Ashes & Alibis – the wait is almost over! The current version is in the hands of beta readers now! I am getting some wonderful feedback and look forward to reading the final comments for editing! Estimated release is Summer 2026! Here’s a sneak peak at the summary:
Welcome to Willow Creek—a picture-perfect town where the scones are sweet, the gossip is sticky, and secrets refuse to stay buried.
Penelope Paxton knows all about cozy mysteries—she’s read hundreds of them. Quiet days with her loyal German Shepherd, Max, and shelves lined with her favorite whodunits have always been enough to keep her content. Until now.
When a late-night fire reduces her best friend’s beloved bookstore to ashes, Penelope’s safe little world begins to unravel. The blaze doesn’t just destroy books—it claims a life. And when the rumors start, pointing fingers at the very person Penelope trusts most, the whispers in this small town grow louder than the truth.
Armed with nothing more than a notebook, a sharp eye for details, and a lifetime of mystery novels, Penelope steps into the role she’s only ever read about. But real-life investigations aren’t as tidy as the ones in her paperbacks. The suspects are her neighbors. The stakes are deadly. And the killer? They might be closer than she thinks.
In a town full of secrets, can Penelope untangle the lies before the next chapter ends in tragedy?
