Meet Hank!
Hank leads a charmed life as Emily’s pet. He has a warm bed to nap in, fresh food and water daily, an exercise wheel, and his favorite toy–a plastic ball–to occupy his time. From the safety of his cage, Hank often dreams of exploring the outside world as he views it from the window overlooking the backyard. While the idea of venturing outside and exploring a whole new world appeals to him, Hank is quite happy in his cage and the security of his plastic ball.
But one day, during a typical cage cleaning, Hank wanders the house in his exercise ball. But Hank’s world is turned upside down as he is accidentally catapulted outside in his ball! Outside for the first time, and confused and lost, Hank wanders through the yard embarking on adventures until he manages to find his way back to the house only to find the way inside is closed. Will Hank be able to find a way in and return to the protection of his cage?
