With Thanksgiving now behind us, I still want to take time to be thankful for so many things. I am thankful for my family and friends who love me and have supported me through this journey. I am thankful for my new day job and the perks it provides me. I am thankful for my health and my continued ability to be on my health journey this year. I am thankful for my dog, Eddie, for keeping me on my toes and feeling young, for bringing joy and unconditional love to my life. And lastly, but not at all in the least, I am grateful for my readers and followers who support my love of writing and encourage me to continue by being faithful readers.
I am very excited to share some news with you regarding the next installment of the Whiskers & Tails Mystery series. I have completed (finally) the first (very) rough draft of the third book. While the book works its way slowly through the proofreading and editing processes, I am turning my attention to two other ventures. A writer is compelled to write, to release the characters and narratives in their mind. And there are so many characters and new places and new adventures living within me that I have a hard time quieting the voices sometimes and focusing. But I was able to ignore those voices and focus just on Olivia Swann and Tom Barnaby. I hope in this new book that I have done the characters and the storyline justice.
Speaking of loud voices, I am flirting with a new series concept that I hope you, my readers, will enjoy. It will be a slight change in style but still a cozy mystery series that I hope you enjoy as much as I am enjoying the creative process and outlining it. More about that to come in the next few weeks.
Closing out this post, here’s a sneak peak of my kids book Albert the Donkey Meets a New Friend! Coming soon!
Thankful and grateful,
