My first ever author event was this past Saturday at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge, OH. It was a tremendous success! There were well over 400 kids who attended the event! It was overwhelming at first but once I got into my groove things went smoothly. I ran out of crayons in the first 10 minutes of the event and out of all 300 stickers by the end of the event. My Albert the Donkey Meets a New Friend was a great hit and every copy was picked up. I even signed several copies for the kids which was touching. I am beyond thrilled and so happy that so many kids will get to enjoy and share in Albert’s story!
The next event is the Local Author Event at the Stark Main Library in Canton, OH. Copies of Albert the Donkey Meets a New Friend AND Albert the Donkey Finds a Treasure will be available for purchase. Limited copies of both Whiskers & Tails Mystery books will be available. I’ll have some free goodies to hand out as well. So, stop by and see me, pick up a copy or two of the books, and enjoy the other authors who will be available as well! It’ll be a great event with some wonderful guests. I can’t wait to see you all there!
It has blown my mind how well received Albert has been. I am so pleased and blessed to be able to share Albert and his adventures with Eddie with everyone.
