Hello, dear readers!
Life has been quite busy, and I am looking for to this brief break before the summer festivals begin. I have completed the adorable limited edition Albert wristlet keychains, and they will be available while supplies last starting at the Massillon, OH Fun Fest on August 10th. If they are a hit, I may produce more for the Canal Town Book Festival in October. They are just too cute!
The Kickstarter campaign for plush Alberts was not successful. HOWEVER, I do have two plush Albert dolls that I will be offering in raffles at the Fun Fest and at the Canal Town Book Festival. A portion of the raffle ticket sales will go to support FOCUS Rehab & Rehabilitation.
Speaking of, If you’re not already aware, I have partnered with FOCUS Rehab & Rehabilitation starting June 1. With this partnership, 10% of all Albert book sales help support this wonderful rescue. FOCUS is a 501c3 organization dedicated to saving equines who have been forgotten, neglected, abused, and may be slaughter bound. Their commitment to each horse that enters their program is only made possible through the generosity and help of supporters like you. When you purchase a feel good book like Albert the Donkey, you also help support and save equines that need rescued which also makes you feel good!
I have added a new event for October – the Local Author Book Fair at the Navarre Civic Center on October 12th. Be sure you’re keeping in the know with my appearances so you can snag a signed copy of an Albert the Donkey book or some great swag!
Also, the third book in the Albert the Donkey series – Albert the Donkey Solves a Mystery – is coming soon! You can see part of the cover in the blog post featured image. I really loved this story and I hope my readers and your littles will enjoy it as well! I can’t wait for everyone to read it!
