Blessed

Hello, friends and readers! Blessed is not even a strong enough word to describe life right now. If you have been following the Events page, you’ll have noticed that it is filling up fast with different appearances. I am so honored that people want to help me share Albert with kids. I am truly hoping that everyone enjoys the story and the characters and look forward to the future books. Everyone I have talked to so far about doing an event or appearance have been incredibly helpful, responsive and interested. I am still in shock and awe of the responses so far.

This week I received the stickers of Albert and Eddie. They are great! I was able to put them inside the crayon packs I ordered and so each pack now has two stickers for the kids to enjoy as well. I am so excited yet completely nervous at the same time for the upcoming events. Why? Because public speaking is hard for me. I’m actually pretty shy and have some trouble with stage fright. But it’s not the kids that make me nervous – it’s the adults. Silly, I know but it’s a lifelong thing. I’ll be practicing my reading and speeches to Eddie, my Cavapoo. He’s a pretty good listener.

I received the last batch of sketches for Albert book two and they’re great! I have a soft deadline of February 15 for publication. So by beginning of March I should have copies available! I also receive the first images of the plushie sample and he looks adorable. I cannot wait to see him in person. I will be taking him with me to events and if there is enough interest, I will order a limited run to offer for purchase.

If you haven’t already, please follow me on social media and keep checking back on this blog and the website. I am constantly updating and posting in order to keep you informed on the Big Things that are happening this year. If you’d be interested in booking a free reading of Albert the Donkey, drop me a message at [email protected] or use the short form on contact page. I would love to hear from you either way!

Thank you for being a constant companion on this amazing journey.

Best,
